So, not sure what happened yesterday morning, but when I hit publish, it didn't...I got to work and pulled up TCB on my iPhone to see that there was no recap on the front page.  Apparently, I lost internet during that time because it was on the same page when I got home.

But, last post I talked about how it was a rough night the night before and it brought us back to reality.  But, now, I know the world comes full circle and there are once again highs.  That high mostly came from Jordan Lyles.  Lyles finally had a dominating outing where he not only didn't allow runs, but he also had a high strikeout rate.  Is this a breakout game in AAA?  Oh, how I hope so!  Only time will tell though.

Lyles wasn't the only big pitcher on the night.  Xavier Cedeno had a Lyles-esque performance before he turned it over to the newly activated Danny Meszaros.  Meszaros is back after his long suspension and he came back with a bang.  He made it to AAA before his suspension so maybe he'll be back there soon.  I'm really high on Meszaros and would love to see him in Houston as a September call-up at worst.  He's had solid numbers in the minors and he has moved very quickly through the system.  On to two nights of games after the jump!
