The streak has come to end at 32 for Brett Myers.
Myers went 5.2 IP allowing 10H 8ER 4BB with 7 SO. His ERA jumped above three to 3.14 to finish the season. While it blemishes his ERA it doesn't blemish how well Myers has pitched all season for the Astros. He's been one of the best offseason signings in all of MLB and he could be the Astros MVP as well as the best pitcher for the Astros.
There really wasn't much else to this game. The game was close until the bottom of the fifth inning, but the Astros offense was ineffective as usual. The Astros did not walk and mustered only four hits in the game. No player had more than one hit so I'll let you do the math on how many batters got hits. One of them was Tommy Manzella, so good for him. Oh and Jeff Keppinger hit a homerun so kudos for him too.
Games like these make you count how many games are left (3) until you can adopt another team for the playoffs or start speculating on how awesome this team is going to be next year.
