Astros Weekend Minor League Recap

It's been a hectic few days in the minors with the trade deadline and moving prospects around.  I'm going to give a brief review of the minor league movements.  I'll probably leave one out but I'll have the biggest ones.  Brett Wallace was traded for Anthony Gose and promoted to Houston.  Mark Melancon was traded from New York and assigned to Round Rock.  Tommy Everidge was released from RR.  Yordany Ramirez was sent to Lexington to transition to pitching.  Jack Shuck was promoted to RR to fill Ramirez's spot (as I predicted).  Albert Cartwright was promoted to CC to take Shuck's spot.  Jonathan Villar was traded for and sent to Lancaster.  Jose Altuve was promoted to Lancaster to take Cartwright's spot.  Jose Trinidad was promoted from Lexington to Lancaster.  Barry Butera was demoted to Lexington from Lancaster.  Jimmy Paredes was traded from New York and assigned to Lexington.  Ebert Rosario was sent to the GCL to transition to pitching as well.  Phew!  Thats a lot of moves!

Also, I attended the Round Rock at Nashville Sounds game last night and will write up a report on the game and what I thought about a few players I got to see today.  It will post either Monday or Tuesday, so be looking out for that.
