2010 Farmstros Five- Week Two

The Farmstros Five for the week of April 15-21, 2010:

THE TOP PERFORMER:

Jordan Lyles, 19, RHP, Corus Christi. Lyles made an impression in his first regular season game at Whataburger Field. He allowed two hits and struck out five in six scoreless innings. He is slated to start again Thursday night.

The Other Four:

Doug Arguello, 25, LHP, Corpus Christi. Arguelllo made two starts for the Hooks pitched 11 innings and allowed only one earned run. Arguello, who missed much of 2009 with injury, allowed nine hits and struck out seven.

Robert Donovan, 21, RHP, Lexington. Donovan started twice for the Legends. He gave up one earned run and eight hits in 11 innings.

Kyle Greenwalt, 21, RHP, Lancaster. Greenwalt pitched six scoreless innings for the JetHawks allowing four hits and striking out six.

Jonathan Meyer, 19, 3B, Lexington. Meyer has at least one hit in all 14 Legends games this season. For the week, he was 13 for 27 with three doubles and five RBI.
