Blum likes the improvement in manager

11

Geoff Blum, Roy Oswalt, and Pedro Feliz were signing autographs on an Astros' tour when Fox 26 Sports caught some interesting comments from Blum. Blum likes the "new feel" to the ballclub with Brad Mills replacing Cecil Cooper. Blum described the atmosphere with Cooper in charge: "It was one of those over-bearing things that was like a black cloud hovering over the clubhouse," Blum said. "There were things you couldn't say. You couldn't be who you wanted to be in the clubhouse with all of the internal rumors and all the clubhouse lobbying going on, things like that." Oswalt said Mills would bring a "better attitude" to the clubhouse.
