The Top Performer:
Robert Bono, 20, RHP, Lexington. Bono pitched a complete game four-hitter on the final day of the season. He allowed one earned run and struck out four.
The other four:
Marcos Cabral, 25, IF, Lancaster. Cabral finished the season going 12 for 25 with three doubles, one triple and nine RBI.
Jonathan Gaston, 22, OF, Lancaster. Gaston finished the campaign on a solid note going 9 for 24 with one double, three home runs and eight RBI. The hot week helped Gaston end the season tied for the minor league lead in home runs with 35. He also reached the 100 mark in RBI.
J.D. Martinez, 22, OF, Tri-City. Martinez went 7 for 18 with one double, one home run and three RBI. He ended the season as the batting average champion in the New York-Penn League.
Andy Van Hekken, 30, LHP, Corpus Christi. Van Hekken, who bounce between Round Rock and Corpus Christi this season, made his final start of the season a good one. He pitched eight innings allowing five hits and one run while striking out nine.
