To be honest, this series scares the crap out of me. The Dodgers have been the anti-Astros so far. They're leading the league in runs scored and some of their pitching performances have been absolutely dominant. The young southpaw, Kershaw, has been drawing rave reviews from scouts and stat-heads alike for the last year plus, and he's off to a sizzling start so far. The thing we have to look forward too, is that his numbers appear to be unsustainable and maybe we'll get him in a fall back to earth performance tonight...so he's, you know, human.
Russ Ortiz has had one of the toughest jobs on the team so far this season and I'm hopefully that reestablishing some sort of rhythm as a starter will help get back the level he was at when Spring Training broke...otherwise, it could get ugly.
Also, some guy named Manny is going to be at MMP tonight.
I'm glad to see that Keppinger is back in the line up, I'm confused as to why he and Jason Michaels are in their respective places though. Come on Coop, you have a brain, use it.
