Zachary Levine, The Houston Chronicle's "Unofficial Scorer" wrote an article on what effect Pudge will have on our offense. He notes that with Rodriguez in the lineup over the alternatives (Towles/Quintero), the Astros can expect to score 1.64 runs more over the course of a 162 game season. Limiting Quintero's ABs will be important, Levine concludes.
He also links two posts that DQ and I wrote this week. Thanks to Zachary for doing so. If you like his writing, DQ did an interview with Mr. Levine last year.
