So here we stand, 1 game above .500. The chance to have a winning season very much alive and play-off hopes having yet to be mathematically eliminated -- which for Astrso fans means that hope is not lost. Last night's thrashing brought us to a winning record for the first time since June 10th.

Offensive explosions aside, we still remain a daunting 8.5 games behind the stacked Milwaukee Brewers, which means we might just have to be better than Coop's ridiculous goal of a 90 win season to play October baseball.

However, if there ever was a starting point to take 30 of 43 games, it is against the man that is teaching the city of San Francisco to say "big mistake" 120 million times. If the Astros bats having anything left in them tonight after last nights explosion then they should feast on Barry Zito. If Randy Wolf keeps this game remotely close for us, expect our 7th "W" in a row. Especially if something like this gets crushed again.
