Justin Timberlake to Star in Houston Astros-Related Movie

From the AP

Justin Timberlake will portray fictional Hooks player Carlton Garrett in the upcoming movie "The Open Road."

"The Open Road" is the story of a young man trying to reconnect with his father — a legendary athlete played by Jeff Bridges — as he struggles to get home to his ailing mother. Mary Steenburgen and Kate Mara are also in the film.
Umm... I don't really know what to say. I'm by no means a fan of Timberlake and don't think he's a very good actor. I watched Alpha Dog and thought it was a terrible movie. I also blame him for the terrible half-time shows we've had recently at the superbowl. All because him and Janet and the infamous "wardrobe malfunction".

I think it's pretty cool that a movie is being made out of the Astros farm team, I just think they could have found someone else to star in it... anyone would do in my opinion. I'm sure I'll watch the movie when/if it comes out, but it's not because of the "star" of the movie.
