Astros @ Brewers
Brandon Backe VS Carlos Villanueva
Brandon Backe Carlos Villanueva
0 - 0, -.-- 6 - 3, 4.68

Don't look now, but your Houston Astros have moved from the cellar and are now tied for 4th in the division... Okay, not really saying much... the Astros didn't move up 2 spots because they are playing good ball... they moved up because the Reds and Pirates are playing worse ball. But who cares, the thing that really matters today is that it's Rastro's Birthday! Happy Birthday man!

The gift to Rastros that Brandon Backe is making his first start of the year after undergoing Tommy John surgery last year on September 7th. The surgery was supposed to keep Backe out for 1 1/2 years, but Backe's worked hard and is back to join the rotation. I hate to say it, but I'm just hoping he hasn't come back too early. I'll be happy if he pitches and doesn't get hurt. The results of this game come 2nd to Backe staying healthy in my opinion.

On another non-Astros related note... Roger Clemens left yesterdays game feeling pain in his elbow(inflamation). Supposedly he's just going to get a cortizone shot and miss a start or two at the most. Maybe the Yankees were dumb offering him the extra month.
