Well I've got some good news and some bad news... the good news is that we will no longer have to suffer through the pitching experience known as Jason Jennings. The bad news is that we were totally misled all season long by an injured player that did nothing good for the team this year besides cause our management to trade away 3 prospects. Some people blame Tim Purpura for the issue, others are blaming Jennings. I don't know who to blame, but I do know that there hasn't been one trade we've made since Purpura became the GM that has ultimately turned out as a win for the Astros. So put the blame where you want.

The Astros are on a 3 game losing streak and back to being 9 games behind the NL Central Lead. We have 36 games left in the season... every time we look as if we're going to make a run at the lead, we get a set back... I just don't see this club taking the next step and running out a huge winning streak... but who knows... We did get Hunter Pence last night and got rid of the worst pitcher in our rotation. But then again, our best pitcher at home got shelled for 7 runs in just over 5 innings.
