Astros VS Brewers
Wandy Rodriguez VS Claudio Vargas
Wandy Rodriguez Claudio Vargas
4 - 6, 4.20 6 - 1, 4.09

Like many Astros fans, I'm pretty down about the way we've been playing lately. Actually, check that... I'm pretty down about the way our BULLPEN has been playing lately. Our offense has actually been pretty good lately, just our Bullpen hasn't been good enough to protect 5+ run leads. Our offense has been really good lately putting up an average of 5.4 runs per game over the last 15. Unfortunately, over those last 15 games, we've only won 6. Tonight's pitching matchup looks pretty even ERA wise, but the Brewers have actually supported Vargas and his 4.09 ERA to a 6-1 record, while the Astros have only been able to muster a 4-6 record while Wandy and his 4.20 ERA were on the hil..

Biggio is in the lineup tonight... here's hoping he doesn't go 4-4 tonight. Hopefully he'll just go 2-2 with 2 or 3 walks.. that would be perfect. Although, it would be interesting to see what Garner would do if Biggio started the night 3 for 3... you think he would let him hit again? What if the game was tied in the 9th and Biggio was coming up after going 3 for 3... do you think he would hit then?
