Woody Williams Carlos Zambrano
2 - 8, 5.79 6 - 5, 5.38

Interesting that Zambrano, who has pitched about as poorly as you can in the year when he should have come into his own, has the 5.00+ ERA and a winning record.

Even Wandy (who has some powers in that area) hasn't been able to pull that trick off with the recent run-challenged Astros.

Neat trick if you can pull it off, though. Here are the Astros who have done it over a full season:

yr name w l pct era
2001 Dave Mlicki 7 3 .700 5.09
2003 Jeriome Robertson 15 9 .625 5.10
1994 Pete Harnisch 8 5 .615 5.40
