Box Score
First off, let me start by saying... WHY THE HELL IS LORETTA NOT IN THE LINEUP! Okay, now that we got that out of the way. Nice game by Woody, but boy did the first inning scare me. Woody went 6 2/3 innings, giving up 2 runs with 6 hits and 3 strike outs earning his first victory of the season. Woody has been good over his last 4 starts, going 6+ innings in each of the last 3 and only giving up 3 runs per game.
Offensively, we did just enough to get a win. Berkman went yard for his 3rd straight gaming brining him up to 5 on the year and Woody Williams got his 1st RBI of the year, sealing the victory for himself. Other than that, we were about average... nothing spectacular.
Next up, the Astros end this series with the Reds as Matt Albers takes on Aaron Harang tomorrow in Cincy at 11:35 am. Afterwards, the good guys head home to face the Diamondbacks on Friday.
Word is that Biggio will have an off day tomorrow and Loretta will get the start at 2nd.
