Astros VS Diamondbacks
Webb VS Sampson
Brandon Webb Chris Sampson
3 - 3, 3.86 4 - 4, 3.31

Your hometown Houston Astros are still on a road trip and still in Arizona facing the offensive juggernauts in the Diamondbacks. Let me see how I can try to say something good about the Astros as of late... Well last night we scored more runs than we had in our previous two games combined... Of course the sad reality is that we only scored 3 runs and got pummeled 13-3 giving up an average of 10.3 runs per game in this series with the Diamondbacks. Sadly enough, the Astros haven't scored more than 3 runs since last sunday when they scored 6 against the weak pitching Rangers.

On the bright side... only 2 more games and we get to come home. Is at least one win too much to ask for? I think not. Actually, I think we will win tonight and I think that last seasons Cy Young will get out pitched by the Astros #2 pitcher(or should be) in Chris Sampson who is sporting his 3.31 ERA.

Astros go with the same lineup as last night. I really like this lineup even though it only scored us 3 runs last night. I think this lineup is about the best we can put out offensively with the crew we currently have(and the way we are currently playing. Could "maybe" make a few minor tweaks to increase the offensive output(maybe Quintero for Ausmus or Ensberg to 3rd, and Loretta to Short... but Ensberg has sucked this year(almost as much as Everett.. so who knows how that would turn out... and Q for Ausmus isn't really an upgrade offensively... well not much of one(if any).
