The first series between the Rangers and Astros comes to a close today as the elder statesmen in the rotation for the Astros, Woody Williams takes on struggling righty(pretty much normal for the Rangers starters) in Brandon McCarthy. Despite Woody's terrible win/loss record this season, he's actually been pretty decent in his last 5 games going at least 6 innings in each and giving up less than 4 runs per outing. The Astros are sending out their offensive lineup... hopefully the defense will hold up.
