Kudos to Roy and Jason and Woody and Wandy and Chris, as so far they've outperformed the formidable rotation of 2005. It's also worth noting that in neither 2005 nor 2006 had the number five starter taken a turn by the eighth game.
But everything else looks bleak.
Plate discipline--so fashionable in Houston last year--appears to be as out of style as Kid Rock.
