Woody Williams puts his vaunted spring numbers on the line tonight, and the Houston native makes his first start ever as a hometeam pitcher at Minute Maid Park tonight.
This is the fourth straight year that Houston has finished its Spring Training with two home exhibition games against the Royals.
The Royals swept the games in 2004 and 2005, before splitting the series last year. Taylor Buchholz got the Astros' one win last year, throwing 7 shutout innings and even winning a special Spring Training Game Hero in a performance that clinched the fifth spot for him as the Astros entered 2006.
The ever-erratic Greinke has been named as KC's # 2 starter heading into the regular season, and has actually had a pretty good spring.
Woody, of course, is our number three, and has not.
Todd Wellemeyer, Jimmy Gobble and Joakim Soria will follow Greinke for the Royals, and Dan Wheeler and Chad Qualls will follow for the finally homestanding 'Stros.
