vs. Nationals at OCS 6:05 CDT LOSS

Chris Sampson (1 - 0, 3.12) to make his first start of the spring tonight, and it's a test for Chris, sure, but also perhaps just as much of one for Garner, who has a history of pulling Sampson too early.  Resist the urge, Phil, and let the man pitch!

CHRIS SAMPSON THIS SPRING
Date Opp IP H R ER BB K Dec.
4-Mar vs. WSH 1-2/3 2 2 2 2 1 W, 1 - 0
8-Mar at WSH 2-0/3 1 0 0 0 1 ---
12-Mar at PHI 2-0/3 2 0 0 1 2 ---
16-Mar vs. NYY 2-0/3 0 0 0 0 5 ---
19-Mar at FLA 1-0/3 0 1 1 1 0 ---
Totals 8-1/3 5 3 3 4 9

Set to follow Sampson are Moehler, Qualls and Astacio.

The opponent for the fourth time this spring are the Nationals, who will break out Jerome Williams, Levale Speigner (whatever THAT is), Chris Booker, and Ryan Wagner in the hopefully futile attempt to keep the Astros offense in check. We can just hope the Gnats didn't watch tape of last night's telecast.
