Matchup/Game Thread Game # 132 vs. Brewers

Tomo Ohka Roy Oswalt
4 - 3, 4.42 10 - 8, 6.99
Roy Oz enters tonight's start having given up no walks in five of his last eight starts, and he has now pitched 18 consecutive innings without giving up a walk. The last time he gave up a base on balls was during the first inning against the Pirates August 9th, when it was Freddy Sanchez that got the free pass.

Oswalt has always been a tightwad when it comes to issuing walks, but the recent stinginess is a little extraordinary even for him. As a result his ratios for the month look fairly erxemplary: 21:2 K/BB, 1.20 WHIP, 382 pitches thrown, 259 for strikes.

On the other hand, Ohka has struck out 10 and walked eight this month, and has got a 7.24 ERA in August.

Got the pitching matchup, don't need nuthin' else, right?
