Wandy Rodriguez | Paul Maholm |
6 - 2, 3.88 | 2 - 4, 4.33 |
Shit. Find myself behind today, so no time for long ruminations.
There probably isn't all that much to say anyway, except that if Wandy steps up here, it will in my mind officially end the Period of Doubt and formally usher in the era of Wandy Rodriguez, Respected Major League Starter, Who's Gotten It Done.
Also wanted to note the foolish words of Jim Tracy, which were not likely to endear their speaker to his players.
Maholm went three inings in Houston April 23, gave up 7 hits, 5 runs. Biggio led off the game with a homer. Ensberg homered in the same inning, and Burke later hit a double off Maholm, before he departed.
