If you think the Rockies have a terrible bullpen, you might (or might not) want to check out last night's Greeneville Astros game. Finishing off their three game road series with the Bristol White Sox to open the season, Greeneville's bullpen was presented with a ninth inning lead of 2 runs, a tenth inning lead of 1 run, and a twelfth inning lead of 2 runs--and blew them all.

I know these are 18-year old kids for the most part, but still, that's pretty brutal. Here's the painful line:

On a less savage note, the PCL has released the rosters for the July 14th Triple A All Star game to be held in Sacramento, and our man Buchholz is on it, as well as Mike Coolbaugh, who of course would never get called up, but is still having a pretty nice .293-18-58 season for the Express.

But back to Taylor: he's undefeated at 6 - 0, he's leading Round Rock in wins, and is second to Astacio in WHIP; nonetheless, everything I've been hearing is that he has almost zero chance of making the trek to Houston before the end of the PCL season, regardless of what happens with Wandy.

Who I still think pitched pretty darn well last time out.
