Ramon Ortiz |
Roy Oswalt |
1 - 3, 5.20 | 5 - 6, 3.23 |
Roy Oswalt, recipient of exactly zero runs in his last two starts, but a ridiculous 13 - 0 vs. Cincinatti lifetime, takes the hill tonight at M2, and something, as they say, has gotta give.
Oswalt is 1 - 2 in his last three with a 1.25. I hate to imply that the Astros are selective in who they choose not to support, but this is Clemens territory, folks.
Ramon Ortiz has pitched pretty well in his two losses and a no-decision over the last three, compiling a 3.79.
Oswalt, of course, still doesn't have a no-decision on the year.
If I'm Phil Garner:
Eric Bruntlett .400 AVG 1.200 OPS over last 7 days
Lance Berkman .381 AVG .935 OPS over last 7 days
Jose Vizcaino (he should be back, right?) 3 for 6 against CIN this year with 2 doubles and a ribbie
Jason Lane 1.237 OPS vs. CIN this year
And just a hunch: lay off Dan Wheeler tonight.
