The Bullpen, in its entirety

  • 13-2/3 IP, 1R, 1 ER, 8 H, 14 K, 8 BB, 1.17 WHIP
  • Mike Gallo: 2/3 IP O H, 1 BB, 0 K, O R Fifth Inning
Worked out of the 1-out, man on third
       situation he inherited from Backe
  • Russ Springer: 2 IP, 3H, 1 BB, 0 K, 0 R Sixth and Seventh Innings
Begins by giving up a ground rule double to the pitcher,
which morphs into another man on third one out situation.
Needless to say, he got out of it.
Later, was the recipient of Adam LaRoche's sloth, when Francouer doubled
  • Wandy Rodriguez: 1 IP, 1 H, O BB, 2 K, 1 R Eighth Inning
The homer the gave up to McCann, which later forced
the pitchers lower on this list into doing their part, was not fair by all that much,
and Wandy was strong finishing his frame.
  • Chad Qualls: 2 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, 1 K, 0 R Ninth and Tenth Innings
Worked around a leadoff walk in the ninth
and a one-out double in the tenth.
  • Brad Lidge: 2 IP, 1 H, 2 BB, 3 K, 0 R Eleventh and Twelfth Innings
Extricated himself from a second and third situation in the eleventh,
and a man on second in the twelfth
  • Dan Wheeler: 3 IP, 1H, 3 BB, 4 K, 0 R Thirteenth thru Fifteenth Innings
Got 'em 1-2-3 in the thirteenth,
and worked out of bases loaded, one-out situation in the fourteenth.
  • Roger Clemens: 3 IP, 1 H, 0 BB, 4 K, 0 R, W, 1-1 Sixteenth thru Eighteenth Innings
Worked around Jordan's one out double in the seventeenth,
and around Chavez' error at first (!) in the eighteenth

The Astros bullpen put on what I'm pretty sure is the greatest display of playoff relief pitching the game has ever seen today. After 4-1/3 innings, the score was 5 - 1 Braves. 13-2/3 innings later, the game ended 7 - 6 Astros.
