Hard for me to follow the game...
because KTRH radio didn't live stream the audio over the web site, and it's hard for me to pick up the signal consistently in Austin.

Astros lost 12-10.  Paulino got beat up a bit, giving up 4 ER (including a HR) in 3 innings.  Brocail allowed 3 runs in relief, including a tie breaking HR.  Is anyone worried about Brocail?  I don't think he has had an appearance this spring when he wasn't hit hard.  McLemore also had a poor game, giving up a 2 run HR. Valverde had a scoreless inning.

The Astros came back to tie or take the lead several times early in the game, but fell too far behind during the Brocail/McLemore innings.  Matsui, Ausmus, Blum, and Loretta were the hitting stars for the Astros.

Also...
Gervacio and DeJean with scoreless innings to keep their ERAs at 0.00.  I could see Gervacio making it to the big team as a reliever sometime this season.  Is DeJean perhaps a possible surprise for the bullpen?

In the reserve outfielder competition, Cruz kept up his torrid pace with a RBI hit in the Atlanta game and Victor Diaz had a RBI double in the game with the Nats.  I also see that Yordany Ramirez had a RBI hit against Atlanta....that's the first hit I can recall from him.

If ST ended today...
I'd take Cruz.

And DeJean looked good in the only game I've seen.  Apparently people in Dallas would rather watch reruns and women's basketball than Astros ST.

I'm going to get mlb.tv at some point...

I think..
we've had 1 game televised in Houston... and there is a closer team to Dallas than the Astros, so it's not surprising they won't show any of their games...

Can't wait until opening day when I'll actually get to enjoy a game... these spring training noonish time games destroy me... I can't even listen to them on the radio normally because I'm at work...

Go 'Stros!

They don't even show the Rangers games.
And I want my baseball fix.  Preferably my Astros baseball fix.  And even more preferably a free (well, besides the cable bill) Astros baseball fix.

I'm so needy.

Too bad TBS....
is no longer the Atlanta Braves superstation. [TBS will be providing some Sunday afternoon games like Fox and ESPN do on Saturday and Sunday night...meaning it will show a lot of Yankees and Red Sox games. :)]  TBS used to show Braves' spring training games, which means we would have had a chance to watch some Astros games vs. the Braves in the spring.
