Stevie Ray
I don't know what you folks listen to, but I just found this handheld video on YouTube, and I'm gonna go out on a ledge here and say that April 19, 1985 was one of the greatest days in Astros history.
Even if the players (and especially the managers) had no idea what the fuck was going on.

Definatly one of the best years of my life.
I Was Your Age Then
So in a real way, it's history for me, too, even though I was out of diapers when it went down.
But there's nothing wrong with that, doesn't seem to me.
Anyway, I'll stick with what I said about the 'one of the greatest days.'
You certainly don't see any of the other so-called baseball franchises having invited a blues guitar legend to play the National Anthem.
Hell, the Marlins made a big deal out of hiring Jose Feliciano in 2003.
So the Astros were definitely ahead of the curve on this one.

Easily a greatest moment for Astros franchise
Is there a listing somewhere of all the artists who have performed the SSB before an Astros game?
Thanks for finding and posting this.
