Jose Altuve Interviewed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon
Marwin Gonzalez makes it look easy at shortstop on Sunday. The Astros super utility player starts a double play with a quick run to second base and throws onto first.
A Red Sox fan pointed out an Astro fan Saturday that touched a live ball in the second inning -- leading to the Astros fan being ejected. But the joke is on the Red Sox George Springer was given a ground-rule double when he probably would have only gotten a single.
Ready for the baseball season to start? We're here to help hold you over till Monday. The Astros' Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa talk about double plays in MLB's "This" promotion.
George Springer didn't wait long to make a mark on his former teammate Mike Foltynewicz. Springer was the first of four Astros to hit a home run off Folty. Springer hit a second home run the game as well.
Houston Astros top first baseman prospect A.J. Reed got a hold of a 2-2 pitch from New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey in the second inning of Thursday's game. Reed's hit went over center fielder Yoenis Cespedes' head. Cespedes attempted to call the ball dead after the ball bounded under the outfield pads. The ball remained in plain view, second base umpire C.B. Bucknor called the ball live. Reed kept running and was rewarded with a home run.
The lone Royals fan seem to be lost as Carlos Gomez extended the Astros lead in the sixth.
