More cool stuff from BTB.
In Bud, we trust. Mr. Norris will make his first start as a major leaguer today. Sure, it's because of necessity, but often times this is how a team finds itself a new contributor. His future may not be as a starting pitcher, but the Astros' immediate future has Norris in that role. For those who are unfamiliar with our newest rotation addition, Norris throws a fastball, a slider with good, late movement and is beginning to mix in changeups as well. It would have been nice to give Bud the ball with no pressure, following a win streak of some sort, but injury and poor play have negated that possibility. He'll be throw into the deep end, and we get to see if how well he can swim.
In light of Mark Buehrle's perfect game, I thought it was appropriate to post this beautiful photo taken the night six Astro pitchers no hit the New York Yankees. Three current Astros (Roy Oswalt, Geoff Blum and Lance Berkman) played in that game on June 11, 2003. Three Pete Munro walks and a Geoff Blum error were the only blemishes to the box score.
Is it just me, or does this Nolan Ryan bobblehead looks suspiciously like chron writer Richard Justice?
I am back Astros fans, and I am still servin' up those delicious meatballs... Care to have a taste?

This image was created in response to Cecil Cooper publicly voicing that he is to play golf on his off-day and not think about the "stress" of managing. Coop, I'll meet you at the 19th hole, and we will go over the 2009 season as a whole. This image was a day late, but I still deliver... Hope you guys enjoy!
