No TV in Houston for the Astros vs. Stephen Strasburg?
Are they trying to save us from crying in our beer?
Wonder what Welaind is thinking about now?

Whatever it was, RHP Blake King definitely pulled/strained/sprained something.

I know most of you guys are against a uniform change, but how would you feel if something like this wound up being our hat? Of course, the shade of Orange should be a little lighter, IMO, but you get the idea.
With the rebuilding effort and 2013 move to the AL West, when are the Astros primed to compete? You do have some top prospects coming up in the next few years.
Holy flying bats, Batman! This guy catches a bat that was flying into the stands and didn't spill his beer. Awesome!

Photos from my trip to Astros spring training this last weekend.
Once again the whole experience was awesome. Got to see Tigers @ Astros and Yankees @ Astros. Would've been nice to have won a game, but the weather, the stadium food and talking to players made it a whole lot of fun.
My biggest first-hand takeaway is that Hunter Pence is becoming a real leader and face of this team. He's a great guy (takes the time to sign autographs and talk to the fans), but he genuinely cares about winning - he kept coming out of the locker room after he left the Yankees game to check on who was getting on base, what the score was, etc.
I know it's probably gonna be a tough season, but I'm excited as always.
Adam Wainwright is heading back to St. Louis to have his right elbow examined, and right now the team expects the worst. "I can say just based on the initial evaluation from our training staff, things do not look encouraging," said GM John Mozeliak according to Derrick Goold of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch. ESPN's Buster Olney says (on Twitter) that it appears the team is expecting their ace to have Tommy John surgery, which would keep him out for all of 2011.
*I don't see how more people can't recognize the correlation between poor mechanics and serious arm injuries.
