Fake Trade of the day

Astros acquire Dodgers' Rubby De La Rosa for 3B Chris Johnson, 1B Jonathan Singleton, and recently acquired SP Kyle Weiland. De La Rosa recently underwent Tommy John surgery. If this were a real trade, what would your reaction be? Also, would this be a realistic trade in your opinion?

Please go to http://www.change.org/petitions/saveourstrosorg and sign the petition in regards the Houston Astros moving to the AL West. As a Rangers and Astros fan, this would be a huge conflict of interest and is just wrong. MLB is taking advantage of one of its franchises by taking advantage of the Astros ownership change. Houston needs to stay in the NL where they belong. BOTH fan bases (Rangers and Astros) stand to lose fans if such a move happens. Thanks

Tim Kurkjian - "Astros to have 300 loses in the next 3 season."

I generally think of Tim Kurkjian as a good baseball analysis. With the recent trades he has the Astros as 100 game losers the next 4 years. How do you'll think about the recent trades? How is Carlos Lee still here? I guess no one wants Lee. He's the only known "star" left on this squad.

Fan Coming to Houston

Hey guys, a Reds fan here- I'm coming to Houston during the series we've got with you guys at the beginning of August and was wondering if you might have any kind of recommendations about food places or fun things to do in or around Houston during the days while we're waiting for the game. Anthony Gose & Jay Austin

I was looking at Anthony Gose's (who we flipped for Wallace in the Roy O trade) stats & I was thinking, he does sound familiar to Jay Austin. Both speedy center fielders, 13 triples, around 50 stolen bags, both born in 1990. But then I looked closer, and it turns out both of them were born on August 10, 1990. How ironic.

Round Rock Express

I am both a Texas Rangers and Houston Astros fan though I lean heavily torward the Texas Rangers because I've lived closer to Arlington all of my life. I was wondering for the Astros and Round Rock Express fans out there, especially Austin area fans, what has been the reaction torward the Round Rock Express with the affiliate change to the Texas Rangers?
