The Houston Astros officially have returned Doug Fister from the paternity list on Saturday to make the start against the Texas Rangers. As part of the move, the Astros sent down Brad Peacock back to Fresno, as reported by MLB.com's Jordan Ray.

Fister, 32, is 10-7 with a 3.56 ERA in 21 starts with the Astros. Fister was on the verge of going on the paternity list earlier before his August 1 start but his wife was yet to have the couple's child. No word yet if Fister's wife the child during the past few days.
Peacock returned to the Grizzlies having not pitched for the Astros during his week-long sent with the Astros. Peacock last made a start for Fresno on July 28 -- at the moment he isn't scheduled in the Grizzlies rotation.
