Duffy Reminds You He's Still There
Fresno won a Mark Appel start 7-4 and Matt Duffy helped with his 16th home run. I wish he were a few years younger but he wouldn't have been available at his draft position if he was. His current line is .300/.369/.483. Sure, I'd like to see a higher ISO from a third baseman but that .376 wOBA is quite nice.

Conrad Gregor Continues To Show New Power
The biggest knock on Gregor has been that he's a powerless first baseman. It's a position traditionally counted upon to be a power hitter. He hasn't been that. He's been a guy to hit and get on-base. Early on this season he did that, but then he went to a black hole. But, he's hit twice as many home runs in the second half as he did in the first, but it's been at the cost of his batting average.

JetHawks Tack on Seven Runs to Ledbetter Twins
It's kind of cool to see a set of twins follow each other on the mound. It has to be kind of cool to do get seven runs on them.
J.D. Davis is on a tear. Last ten games. SIX home runs. He's hit over .300 in that span too. He even has a 9/5 SO/BB ratio in those 43 plate appearances in those games. Not bad at all. His ISO is over .200 and his batting average is creeping upwards. A 10% walk-rate is nice to have from a power hitter, we just need to see how legitimate his power is outside of Lancaster.

Boyd Was Active in 2-0 Win
He didn't score a run. He didn't drive in a run. But a 2-3 day with a double, two walks, AND two stolen bases is notable.

TC Throws No-Hitter
It took three pitchers, but they got the job done. There were just two base runners and the staff faced just over the minimum. There was one walk from starter Kevin McCanna and there was an error that allowed another runner against the same pitcher. The tandem starters also accumulated twelve strikeouts which is quite the number. McCanna posted a 66 Game score in his four innings. Usually Game Scores like that require a lot more innings than that.
