Fresno's Offense Leads in 6-3 Win
I'm tempted to debate who has the better corner infield/DH, the Astros or the Grizzlies. Chris Carter/Evan Gattis, Jed Lowrie, and Luis Valbuena versus Jon Singleton, Matt Duffy, and Tyler White. White is hitting over .400. Duffy is over .300. And Singleton has 19 home runs on top of showing some signs of improvement before being optioned.

Teoscar Continues Hot August in 10-7 Loss
No doubt that this season has been a big disappointment for Teoscar fans. But, over the last month, the average has been creeping up. His slugging has been up and down, but has been less of a concern. His August line of .292/.329/.472 is by far his best line and the only month with a respectable OBP.

Bryan Radziewski Tosses Gem in 4-0 Win
Game Scores over 60 are usually pretty good games. Game Scores over 70 are standout performances. Radziewski's Game Score was 76 thanks partly being able to go seven innings. He was still under to 100 pitch mark and even had a 9/4 GO/AO ratio. The GO/AO ratio doesn't factor into Game Score, which makes this start even more impressive. The biggest issue with him has been his spike in walk rate since going to Lancaster, and not having any walks in this appearance is a very good sign.

Trompiz Can't Slug Enough in 10-7 Loss
Kristian Trompiz has had an up and down season. I expected a little bit better season but it's easy to forget he's still just 19 years old. The month of August has been his best month and just to illustrate the inconsistency, for the month he's hit .288 but under .200 in the last ten games. Last night he picked up three doubles which is 20% of his season total.

TC Picks Up Twelve Hits in 5-2 Win
Bobby Wernes just keeps hitting, but not for power. I mean ZERO power. He's currently at a .344 average and a .430 OBP. But the sad part is that he's a corner infielder with an ISO of .031. That's BAD. It's of course a first extended time with a wood bat and needs some changes to his swing. The power might come next season. It wouldn't be the first time we've seen hardly any power for a college hitter only to display solid power later.

Tucker Picks Up Two More Hits in 6-5 Win
Kyle Tucker is now hitting .300! You see why the stats in the GCL are all but worthless? Well, so is the small sample in Greeneville. But, he's at least making good contact and driving the ball which is the main thing you want to see from a raw high school prospect.
