The Astros announced cuts to the minor league rosters:

The most notable is third baseman Jonathan Meyer who was part of major league camp last season after batting .260 with 15 home runs and 68 RBIs with Double-A Corpus Christi in 2013. He split time between Corpus Christi and Triple-A Oklahoma City in 2014, batting .215 with 4 home runs and 41 RBIs. Meyer was a third round pick of the 2009 MLB draft.
First baseman M.P. Cokinos was selected by the Astros in the 31st round of the 2012 draft. Cokinos spent all of 2014 with Double-A Corpus Christi, batting .271 with a home run and 22 RBIs.
Outfielder Jordan Scott was a 14th round pick in the 2010 draft, he reach Double-A Corpus Christi for four games in 2014. He spent the majority of his time in Single-A Lancaster, batting .297 with 21 extra base hits, and 35 runs scored.
Right-handed pitcher Jamaine Cotton was 15th round pick in the 2010 draft, he spent all of 2014 in Lancaster. He posted a 2-4 record with a 4.60 ERA and 1.51 WHIP.
Catcher Ricky Gingras was a 19th round pick in the 2012 draft, he spent all of 2014 with Single-A Tri-City. Gingras batted .252 with 10 extra-base hits and 15 RBIs.
Right-handed pitcher Gerardo Juarez made five appearances between the Greenville and Gulf Coast League Astros in 2014.
Right-handed pitcher John Gatlin was a free-agent signing after the 2014 draft out of Mississippi. Gatlin posted a 1.29 ERA in 14 innings with the Gulf Coast League Astros.
Robert Stock was a second round pick of the Cardinals in the 2009 draft, and signed by the Astros this past month.
