I was at Twin Peaks with my friend tonight watching the Astros ( because we cannot watch them at home because we do not want Comcast) and my buddy made a statement that got us thinking. "Poor Porter, he doesn't have a chance". I replied, I do not feel sorry for him. He has enough talent on the team. Not enough for a World Series, but enough to be doing a lot better than they are now.
when you have a young team that has talent but no experience, the fundamentals need to be played well. Getting picked off 1st multiple times, senseless errors, and not demanding more from your players is not acceptable. Enough is enough Astros. Get busy winning or get busy getting demoted. It is frustrating in the extreme watching these guys. I have been an Astros fan ever since I was a little boy watching Nolan Ryan pop the mitt so loud you could hear it all over the dome. I miss that feeling. I am sure I am not alone. Start showing some life!
