Who has the 'Jazz'?

I came across this the other day from a word origin calendar:

Jazz - The word jazz was coined by a baseball pitcher named Ben Henderson in 1912 to describe a hard-to-hit curveball that he called "Ben's Jazz Curve." According to etymologist Ben Zimmer, who uncovered the word's history, it spread throughout bas ell as a synonym for "vim and vigor" or "pep" before being borrowed in that sense by musicians a hundred years ago, in 1914. The word is now extinct in baseball but very much alive in denoting that all-American music form.

I think it may be time to try and bring it back!

Who on the Astros would have the jazz? The vim, vigor, or pep?
