Ground-ball Pitching

It looks as if Luhnow and company prefer pitchers that induce ground-ball hits. That being said, I feel that the Astros will be exposed for having a weak middle infield. A platoon at best at first base, Jose Altuve at second, Jonathan Villar at short-stop, and Matt Dominguez at third base. Will the Astros infield be able to stop the ground balls any better than last year? What kind of instruction will they receive in spring training? We have Tarrik Brock (1st base), Pat Listach (3rd base) Adam Everett (Infield) and Craig Biggio (special assist.). What can these coaches do to strengthen our infield's defense in the short time of spring training? Do you think Adam Everett needs to stay with the team throughout the season?

In 2013 the errors are as follows:

1st- 6, 2nd- 10, SS- 44, 3rd- 17, 26 in the outfield, and 9 pitching errors

These errors have surely cost the Astros ball games

How serious will Bo Porter and his coaches take errors for 2014?

Houston....We have an awful baseball team. (via StandUpforWWE)
