In this match-up
5 - Domingo Santana
Domingo proved a lot this past year in his first year in AA. His power is more than real but his strikeout problems are just as real. He also proved that he's not as lost in the outfield as previously thought based on the bizarre routes he took in Lancaster. Where he starts is anyones guess, a repeat in AA is a possibility or he could be in AAA, where again he'll be on the low end age-wise. The ceiling is high for Domingo with potential as an above-average defensive right fielder as well as a true power threat. Just has to control those stinking strikeouts. -Brooks
12 - Brady Rodgers
Rodgers has a solid mix of four pitches that plays up thanks to command and tenacity. He was much, much better in A+ Lancaster than the ERA would have you believe; a 3.25 SIERA, 8.36 K/9 and 1.35 BB/9 tell a much different tale. He even got cups of coffee in AA and AAA, which is shocking considering it was just his first full season. The front office is clearly high on him; he'll be in AA to start the year and could potentially make it all the way to the Majors depending on how things go. -Brian
