I hope I don't sound like I'm ranting about promoting players, but why hasn't Carlos Correa been promoted to A+ already? He started off slow in Quad Cities but has really turned it on offensively since May. He definitely deserves to be there and it shouldn't hurt his development. I understand Fontana and Deshields are at A+, but I feel the Stros should either promote them or move them to different positions so Correa can man the SS position. After all, he was drafted to be the SS of the future. Byron Buxton and Addison Russell are already in A+ and I think Correa is on par with Buxton and better than Russell.
If Carlos Correa is the touted prospect he's supposed to be, there's no reason why we shouldn't see him in the majors by the time he's 21 or 22. Can anyone shed some light on why he's still in A ball? And am I the only one questioning the lack of promotion for him?
