MLB Scores: Tigers 7, Astros 2

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

The Astros lose. They lose two players, a game and a whole lot of respect.

What's worse? That Houston held a slim lead in this game and then lost it on a grand slam?

Or that the Astros lost both Jose Altuve and Bud Norris to injuries?

Altuve, thankfully, should be back tomorrow, though his jaw might be a little sore. Norris is set to be evaluated on Tuesday, according to Brian T. Smith.

So, what actually happened in the game? Well, Norris was good up until the bottom of the fourth. That's when he gave up six runs, including four on a grand slam by someone named Andy Dirks. (That's a made-up baseball player, right? MLB.com is just messing with me right now, aren't they?)

Norris lasted another inning before being pulled due to tightness in his back. He struck out two and walked one while giving up two home runs in cavernous Comerica Park. The good news is that Paul Clemens seems to be coming around. The standout rookie struck out three in three shutout innings of work, walking one while allowing no runs.

Offensively, Robbie Grossman continued his torrid pace lately, banging out two hits in four at-bats, scoring a run and driving in another. Meanwhile, Jimmy Paredes was 1 for 3 with a walk and a steal and J.D. Martinez was 2 for 4 with a double. That's your new starting outfield, BTW.

And...that's all I got.

It's been a tumultuous day in Astro-land and with this latest bit of bad news about the team, I'm not feeling too keen to continue analyzing another loss.
