Will Astros television battle conflict with on-field strategy?

Jim Crane and co are working night and day to get the Astros on television next year for the masses to view. My hypothetical question is this…Will the efforts of Crane have a negative effect with the on-field strategy? For instance, will Crane pressure Lunhow into making a signing of Choo or a trade for David Price in order to get the television deal closer to reality. Let's be honest, those in charge of the television network would prefer to televise Astros games that featured a high payroll and currently-elite talent rather than a rebuilding franchise that may still have a losing record this season. Any thoughts?
