So the PTBNL from the Jays is a first round pitcher from Jersey drafted in the 1st round (57th) in 2011 with his fastball maybe in the low 90's. Sounds like his velocity has dropped into the 80's so far this year. Still he is only 19 and is 6'4", and might be able regain that velocity.

With only 3 Wild Pitches, and 3 HBP so far against 180+ batters and , it sounds like he doesn't make a lot of mistakes.

I'd say he's a future bullpen guy at best, but maybe he can get by with a fastball in the 80's if he has good command of his curve ball and changeup.

With all these lotto tickets, some of them have to pan out.
