Could the future coaches for the Astros already be in place?

Now feel free to rip this apart. But before you do; think about it. Luhnow is building this team from the ground up. The minor league managers will know the quirks, strengths and weaknesses of these young players, most of the talented players will be either at AAA or in the majors in September. So with that said; could the coaches that Luhnow has placed in AAA be next years three keys coaches? This really isn't as crazy as it may sound. (I am...the idea is not). I give you exhibit A, B and C.

Exhibit A - Tony DeFrancesco

He was brought in to manage Oklahoma City by Jeff Luhnow in 2012. In 16 minor league seasons he took his young teams to the playoffs 8 times and won 3 league championships.

Exhibit B - Leon Roberts

He was brought in to be the hitting coach for the Redhawks in 2012. He spent 13 season with the Atlanta Braves organization; 4 as a minor league hitting coach before coming to OKC. Leon has over 40 years experience in professional baseball.

Exhibit C - Burt Hooten

Burt was brought back to the organization in 2012. He pitched in the majors for 15 years, pitched in 3 World Series in which he was the winning pitcher of the final game in 1981 against the Yankees. In 1972 in only his fourth start as a rookie he threw a no-hitter against the Phillies. Burt was the pitching coach for the Astros from 2000 to 2004 and was brought back to bring along some of the young arms. He is well known for for his ability to diagnose and correct pitchers mechanics. For this many call him "Dr. Hooten".

I rest my case.....Crawfish "Jury" Box....it's up to you.

I think most agree that Luhnow is going to want his guys managing this team going forward. Could Tony F. be his guy?? Leon? Burt? Who knows??
