The curious case of Jimmy Paredes

Acquired in the deal that fan favorite sent Lance Berkman to the most vile team in all of baseball, the New York Yankees, JP came to the Astros organization as a 2 bagger. Since then he made the transition to 3rd base, saw a stint in the bigs, went to AAA, went back to 2nd base, and apparently now may be on his way to the outfield with a 5'5 roadblock at 2nd. He's a very intriguing kid, with speed, raw power, switch hits, ability to maintain a respectable contact rate, and IMO a decent arm. I think this is a long overdue move, with guys like DDJ, Nolan Fontana, and of course Tuve holding down 2nd base in the Astros system. His glove wasnt good enough to man third, and theres just a massive hole in RF for the Houston Astros. Although I wouldnt mind giving F-Mart the reigns, I think slotting JP in the spot would be a solid move. I think his power will only continue to develop, and hes plenty fast to man an OF spot. It wouldnt be a bad move until Santana develops further. I'm pretty high on JP, and I hope he finds his niche with the ball club.

Any thoughts?
