Just wondering, might Shuckers be a valuable tool as a situational pitcher/pinch hitter/pinch runner. Imaging a senario where a situational pitcher is needed middle innings with the pitchers spot due up next inning. You put him in, he gets a ground ball out and then you get a decent contact bat in the pitchers spot next inning without burning a reliever. He had somesuccess in college as a pitcher and set the side down in a ugly slugfest to end the suffering.
