So this was brought up in the podcast by the guys and I thought it might warrant so discussion.

The Astro's selecting Matt Gallo HS 3B L/R for the 1-1 pick, in an effort to possibly save money for the rest of the draft picks for guys with sign-ability issues.

Also apparently Appel is a Scott Boras client and there might be some thinking that he might try to push the Astros to overspend forcing us into a penalty. I am not sure if Buxton, Gausman, Giolito, Zimmer or Zumino are client of Boras as well but does this force the Astros to pick a cheaper or at least a person who will sign for the max and nothing over.

Last question, if the Astros were to go the route of a unknown for 1-1 which pick would you chose and would you be ok with that pick. (So anyone other than, Appel, Correa, Buxton, Gausman, Giolito, Zimmer or Zumino)
