Trade For Kendrys Morales?

Stay connected for news and updates

With the signing of J. Hamilton the Angels are looking to unload some of their talent and payroll. They are discussing Vernon Wells with the Yankees and would prefer to trade Morales or Wells rather than Trumbo.(that sentenced brought to you by MLBTR) So they should be willing to part with Morales or Wells for relatively cheap. Below are stats

In 2012 he had 522PA's hit .273/.320/.787. 22 HR, 73 RBI, 5.9% BB rate, 22.2% K rate, .315 BABIP, .194 ISO. For his career he has 1762 PA's hit .281/.331/.823. 79 HR, 265 RBI, 6.6% BB rate, 18.2% K rate, .305 BABIP, .210 ISO. He dropped a WAR of 1.8 last year but he only gets paid $3million. He plays 1B and DH. In his younger days he also played the corner OF, probably still could if it was absolutely unnecessary. He turns 30 in June and is a switch hitter.

If the price is right I think he would be a great pick up, what do you think?
