Yes or no? I would personally say yes. He hasn't had more than 400 at bats in a few years, but still manages to hit 15 homers and drive in 50. In Houston he wouldn't have a problem getting 600 at bats, shuffles the DH around some with Wallace and voila. 9 of his 11 years in baseball he has had an OPS of .780 or more. He is coming off a decent contract, but can't expect to get anywhere near the 12 million he was getting. I don't see him getting more than 5 million. I will take a guy with legitimate power (we really don't have any.. proven ones anyways) who could surprise us and put up a .900 OPS for that price. Plus he brings one skill we horribly need, he can walk. An OBP .100 points higher than his average. Wouldn't that be nice?

For what price would you give him a try?
