The Astros claimed RHP Lance Pendleton off waivers from the Yankees. The Astros previously drafted Pendleton as a Rule 5 pick but returned him to the Yankees at the end of spring training. Pendleton split time between the Yankees ML team and AAA this year. Pendleton had a 3.10 ERA for AAA Scranton, and a 3.21 ERA in 14 innings for the Yankees.
